Rota42 is a digital geek newspaper dedicated to explaining games, film, series, anime, technology, comics and digital culture with context, clarity and an editorial point of view.
Our purpose
We treat geek culture as culture: with memory, criticism, service and room for discovery. Text is at the center of the experience, supported by illustrations, charts and images only when they add information.
How we work
We publish in Brazilian Portuguese and English. Each translation belongs to the same canonical article, preserving authorship, updates, context and editorial transparency across languages. News, explainers, analysis and case studies follow format-specific standards for structure and depth.
Automation and accountability
Rota42 uses automated tools to support research, organization, translation and editorial checks. Publications follow Rota42 criteria for sources, clarity, context and accuracy. Errors can be reported through our corrections channel.
