Editorial policy
The principles below guide commissioning, research, writing, translation, review, automation and publication at Rota42.
Accuracy and sources
Factual information should be verified against appropriate sources, with primary documents preferred. Uncertainty, estimates and conflicts between sources should be stated clearly.
Independence
Commercial interests do not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored, affiliate or access-based content must be visibly identified whenever it exists.
Responsible automation
Automated tools may support research, structure and translation, but automated content enters as a draft by default and remains subject to validation, review and human accountability.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected promptly. When a change substantially alters the understanding of a story, the update should be disclosed to the reader.
