The clearest piece of information is Jessica Lange’s return as all four characters she previously played: Constance Langdon from Murder House, Sister Jude Martin from Asylum, Fiona Goode from Coven and Elsa Mars from Freak Show. Lange had not been a series regular since Freak Show aired in 2014, although she made a guest appearance in Apocalypse in 2018.

The preview places particular emphasis on the witches from Coven. Cordelia refers to a harbinger of doom, while March announces that it is witch-hunting season.
