Crunchyroll confirms more than 30 anime for Fall 2026

Crunchyroll has announced its simulcast slate for the Fall 2026 anime season, bringing together returning franchises, new adaptations, and continuing shows. By a count of the platform's published list, there are 34 entries under new Fall simulcasts plus six continuing series. The schedule begins September 26 and is concentrated across the first two weeks of October.

The major returns include Black Clover Season 2, scheduled for October 3, and The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, set for October 2. Aoashi returns October 4, while Magic Knight Rayearth receives a new adaptation on October 7. The platform also confirmed new seasons of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special, The Detective Is Already Dead, Sasaki and Peeps, and The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World.

The schedule starts before October

The first premiere on the list is A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 on September 26. Overgeared follows one day later alongside the third season of As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. On September 30, the slate adds The Prince of Tennis II U-17 World Cup: Final Member Selection Match.

October begins with FX Fighter Kurumi-chan on October 1. After Maomao and Asta return, the service spreads its premieres across the month: Magic Knight Rayearth on October 7, Firefly Wedding on October 9, The Vermilion Mask and Paw & Palaces on October 10, and Dreamland on October 16. Psyren is confirmed for October but did not have a specific date in the announcement.

Brazilian Portuguese is included among the dubs

The lineup does not treat dubbing as a single package for the entire season. Each production has its own language list, and several dubbed airtimes remain unannounced. Even so, Crunchyroll has confirmed Brazilian Portuguese for prominent titles including Black Clover Season 2, The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, Overgeared, Aoashi Season 2, Firefly Wedding, The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2, and The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II.

That distinction matters because regional availability and dubbing are often confused. Much of the catalog lists South America among its territories, but that does not mean every show will receive Brazilian Portuguese audio. Some will be subtitled only, while others have a confirmed dub without a release date yet.

The season combines new bets with established franchises

The schedule balances series with established audiences and adaptations that still need to introduce themselves. Firefly Wedding, from david production, follows an ailing noblewoman who proposes marriage to the man who kidnapped her. J.C.Staff's Overgeared adapts the story of a debt-ridden player who inherits a legendary blacksmith class. Psyren, produced by Satelight, centers on disappearances and a deadly game.

Among titles already covered by Rota42, Romelia War Chronicle begins Japanese streaming on October 3 and is also part of Crunchyroll's international slate. The announcement establishes the service as one of the main entry points for the season, but it does not represent the entire market, as other platforms still hold their own productions and exclusive agreements.

Crunchyroll notes that airtimes, dub languages, and programming are subject to change. Specific dates and final availability should therefore be understood as the plan confirmed as of September 17, 2026, rather than an unchangeable schedule.
